Second Grade Homeschool Week 1

In our life this week...
Do you see how full our turn in box is?
This has been one BUSY week.
We had scout night this week.
That is Captain on stage (Right) he was an awesome model for our Cubmaster. :)
We earned more than 30 new boys. Yay!
That means lots and lots of paperwork for me.
In our homeschool this week…

Double digit addition, even and odds, fact families.

We started using the Reading Kingdom this week.
We also got a bunch of new "We Both Read" in.
These are our favorites so we checked them all out
and used one for reading time each day.

Language Arts:
Common Nouns

Bible Lesson:

Memory Verse:
Psalm 136:1
"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good."

The kids are hard at work on the family country project.

Kitchen Science
Watching our food grow!
Places we’re going and people we’re seeing…
The kiddos got to go to the water park with Nana and Pop on Sunday.
We had a labor day cook out on Monday.
Ninja loving on Mr. Uncle.
Princess took me on a ride and made Uncle Mike ride on the back. lol
Captain and Nephew. Two of a kind.
Boys and toys.

My favorite thing this week was…
Playing with friends.
We had a few much needed playdates this week.  
I’m cooking…
All Grandma's old recipes.
I’m grateful for…
The peace in our home.
