Pillsbury Artisan Pizza Dough Review and Giveaway

I love working with Blogspark. They always team up with great brands so that we can try awesome new products. I have been turning away most reviews since we started homeschooling. I always read them and see if it will really fit into our family and this one did. We LOVE making pizza together. Well, we love cooking together, we cook as a family every weekend.

This week, I picked up our Artisan pizza dough at Kroger for our weekend cooking lessons. Hubby was not feeling well and the kids were not so hungry so we decided to use it as a snack and make pretzels!

Here is the lowdown on the product:

New Pillsbury® Artisan Pizza Crust with Whole Grain is the perfect canvas for a culinary masterpiece, or should we say master-pizza! Just add your favorite ingredients and enjoy a hot, fresh meal in minutes. Whether your family loves pepperoni, veggies, or the works, the possibilities are endless with New Pillsbury Artisan Pizza Crust with Whole Grain. With 16 grams of whole grain per serving, this is a pizza crust the whole family will love.

What I thought:

I don't like making any kind of bread dough. I just don't. I would rather bake cookies, cake, cook, or grill. Yeast and I are not friends. I can make dough, I have failed many times, but I can do it, I just DON'T want to. So many thanks to Pillsbury for not making me. We have used the regular Pillsbury pizza dough before and it has done the job! I do like that this new Artisan dough offers whole grain.

We found this pretzel recipe a while back and I cant find the link now. It is not my recipe. It is pretty much mozzarella cheese, rolled up in the artisan dough, shaped like a pretzel, brushed with olive oil, and sprinkled with Parmesan.

I liked them! The bread was soft and fluffy, like I needed it to be for this recipe. It was such a quick and easy snack for the kids and one that they could make all on their own. It would be perfect for lunch kits this school year! ;) I will buy it again. Hubby says that he wants to make our "Apple Jack Chicken" pizza with it this weekend so I will pick more up on my shopping trip this week.

Do you want to try it? Well, you can! Blogspark is giving one lucky Mommy Minded reader a prize pack just like mine! They are always so generous!
Here is what is in it:
