Raw Review. Salon Grafix Dry Shampoo Review and Giveaway.

Back to School Post #4

I recently got the opportunity to review the new Dry Shampoo from Salon Grafix. I jumped on it because I immediately thought of how handy it could be during the school year!

Warning:

This is a real review. I did this review right out of bed, with bed head, no make up. Pictures are not glamor shots, Hubby and I tried to get the best shots of my hair for you to see. :)

I take a bath every night before bed and then wash my hair again
every morning because I have super thin hair and it is crazy flat when I got out of bed.

(Right out of bed)

I shampoo, condition, and blow dry my hair
upside down every morning if I have somewhere to go
so that I have a little body.

I also dry my hair out everyday.

So! I thought, what do I have to loose?

I sprayed the dry shampoo on my roots...

... brushed it out, shook it upside down, and teased it a little...

and I got tons of height!

(This is the kids and Hubby's favorite picture, lol)

I brushed it out and it looked just like I washed and dried!

Here is a picture after I added curl, and make up!

My opinion:

I love it. It doesn't really have a smell and it made my hair look like I had washed and dried it. I think that this is a perfect product to have around the house!

I can not tell you how many times last school year where I would get a phone call out of the blue to come to the school to help with something or take something in...

I am a stay at home mom so when I take the kids to school, Ninja and I go home and clean, do our school work...  This is perfect to spray in, brush out, and run into town!

What I like:

It is for all hair types and colors.

It is invisible

It doesn't leave a smell behind.

It didn't dry me out!

Perfect for on the go.

AFFORDABLE! $7.99 at my local drug store.

I don't feel it in my hair.

What I didn't like:

There was really nothing that I didn't like.
This is something that I would use between shampooing for me and Sissy!

I'd love to win this! I'm trying to treat my hair better (less washing and heat), and would love to try this. I also have to admit it would be great for those days that an extra 20 minutes in bed seems more important than perfect hair. Thanks for the chance to win!

During the week it is ponytail hair...because I don't have time to wash and dry it. Sure would be nice to be able to leave my hair down. Of course then the kids might get excited and think we are going somewhere. Haha!

P.S. I follow!

Wow! This stuff looks amazing! I have super thin hair and it usually looks nasty if I don't wash it every morning. I'd love to try this especially now with a new baby coming. I know I won't have time to shower and look cute every day with a newborn!

I love that it doesn't leave a powdery residue. I've occasionally use a product called Brush & Ready, and while I do love that it absorbs the oil and helps my hair to have volume on days when I just don't have time for a wash, it does leave a powdery residue.

I'd love to try this out!

P.S. I'm a new follower on google reader!

I would love to use this when in a rush, or when expecting company at the last minute and I haven't had the chance to shower... lol. Also would come in handy when there is no hot water in the house!

I'm a mommy to two kiddos. I must say that since becoming a mommy, my hair has taken the "backseat". Spending that extra time with my little ones is more important than the extra time spent doing my hair. This would be so amazing to win! I'm sure my husband would be glad to see my hair look like I spent a lot of time on it ;)
