This is a pretty obvious tip for most but it is one of the best things that I do for my family.
Once we get home from the store with produce I get it ready to eat and pack it away in the fridge. This makes it easy to grab when you are hungry and you don't have to worry about making big messes while you prep your meals and snacks.
Its so easy to buy pre- packaged snacks and grab one when you need a snack. So I also have a box with snacks already to go in snack bags so that I know we have healthy options in a time crunch! I keep things like fruit, mini rice cakes, and pretzels in there!
